Job Description

Overview

Anderson Dahlen is seeking experienced CNC Lathe Operators to join their team in Anoka, Minnesota. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, setting up, and performing various CNC machining operations, ensuring precision in the production of product parts and tooling items.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Lathes, including program, tool, and work setup
  • Load programs and edit offsets and code to produce parts within specifications
  • Perform manual programming and edit coded programs
  • Operate manual machining centers when required
  • Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM
  • Read and understand CAD drawings
  • Measure and inspect parts as needed
  • Document process inspections
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of CNC lathe experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Fanuc controls experience
  • Preferred experience with live tooling
  • Computer literacy in Mastercam preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently
