The CNC Lathe Operator at Standard Locknut LLC is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality products while ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards. Key responsibilities

  • Sets up and operates various types of CNC and auxiliary equipment.
  • Performs minor edits to CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions.
  • Programs mills and lathes with precise instructions using basic math.
  • Monitors and maintains specifications during operations.
  • Troubleshoots process malfunctions and adjusts controls as necessary.
  • Maintains and sharpens tools, replacing worn components as needed.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.
  • Assists with special projects like prototype development or process optimization.
  • Keeps work area and equipment clean, safe, and orderly.
  • Adheres strictly to safety procedures and quality standards.

Required skills
