Overview

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their team and enhance their skills in advanced manufacturing technology. The role involves operating various CNC machines and following strict safety and quality procedures while working in a clean, climate-controlled environment on the 2nd shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines, VTLs, horizontal lathes, and grinders.
  • Follow process sheets, work instructions, and blueprints to complete machining tasks.
  • Upload, download, and edit CNC programs as necessary.
  • Analyze and interpret operational sheets, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
  • Perform inspections using precision measuring tools and maintain specifications.
  • Troubleshoot processes and adjust machine controls as needed.
  • Document actions and report labor in the ERP system.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members from Quality, Engineering, and Management.
