Overview

Hi-Tek Manufacturing is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to advance their careers in advanced manufacturing technology. The role focuses on high-quality workmanship while operating various CNC machines in a clean and climate-controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
  • Follow process sheets, work instructions, and blueprints to ensure quality and safety.
  • Upload, download, and edit CNC programs as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret operational sheets and mechanical drawings.
  • Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools.
  • Perform inspections and document actions in the ERP system.
  • Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles and troubleshooting processes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Management.

Required skills

  • CNC programming and operation
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Precision measurement skills
  • Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Okuma controls
  • Knowledge of G and M codes
  • Technical math skills including geometry and trigonometry
  • Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
