Job Description

Overview

Enjet Aero is seeking a CMM Programmer in Newington, Connecticut to oversee CMM programming, setup, and inspection of manufactured jet engine components. This multi-facility role will involve ensuring products meet engineering specifications through various inspection processes, including first piece and in-process inspections.

Key responsibilities

  • Program and set up CMM inspection routines using PC-DMIS
  • Inspect manufactured products to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform first piece, incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Review and verify inspection and testing of parts for compliance
  • Work independently and as part of a team to resolve discrepancies
  • Use precision instruments to measure and ensure part requirements are met

Required skills

  • 5+ years of aerospace/manufacturing quality inspection experience
  • Experience with CMM or operation, especially Hexagon CMM (PC-DMIS)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite tools
  • Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100
  • Understanding of measurement instruments such as micrometers and calipers
