Job Description

Overview

Enjet Aero is seeking a CMM Programmer to support the programming, setup, and inspection of complex jet engine components across various locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. This role is essential to ensure all manufactured products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Program and operate CMM to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform first piece, incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Report inspection results detailing component parts and finished products
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to obtain part information
  • Use precision instruments for accurate measurements of parts
  • Review and verify inspection and testing of products for compliance
  • Work both independently and as part of a team

Required skills

  • 5+ years of aerospace/manufacturing quality inspection experience
  • CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience with precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations
