Job Description

Overview

Enjet Aero is seeking a CMM Programmer to oversee all CMM programming, setup, and inspection of jet engine parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications. This role supports various facilities across Connecticut and Massachusetts, emphasizing teamwork and individual accountability in quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

  • Program and operate Hexagon CMM for inspections
  • Perform first piece, incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use precision instruments to measure and verify part compliance
  • Review inspection results and ensure only acceptable products proceed
  • Collaborate with quality management and other functional areas

Required skills

  • 5+ years in aerospace/manufacturing quality inspection
  • Experience with CMM programming using PC-DMIS
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100
  • Knowledge of GD&T interpretation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency due to ITAR regulations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
