Job Description

Overview

The Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist at BRP is responsible for protecting the company's systems and information assets against cyber threats. This role involves managing security processes and technologies, particularly focusing on cloud security, endpoint security, and identity management to prepare for emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive deployment and orchestration of cybersecurity services for cloud assets, focusing on Azure and GCP.
  • Design and execute enterprise security operations processes and playbooks related to CSPM and containers.
  • Manage cloud resource entitlements and configurations to reduce access risks and ensure compliance with security best practices.
  • Lead detection engineering projects and conduct research in security observability and cloud security.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to enhance detection and response capabilities.
  • Implement least-privilege access policies and manage identity anomalies in cloud environments.
  • Develop automated tools to maintain a robust security posture.

Required skills

  • Excellent Azure Security skills and experience with Microsoft CSPM and GCP
  • Experience with AWS security is an asset
  • Hands-on experience with CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, and CNAPP tools
  • Certifications in AWS Security, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
  • Experience with PKI and modern authentication technologies (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0)
  • Experience with Hashicorp Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Identity Management in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, security, or related field and 5+ years of information security experience
  • Familiarity with incident response methodologies and the Cyber Kill Chain
