Overview

The Clinical Value Analysis Director at HealthTrust Supply Chain is responsible for leading the supply expense agenda within the healthcare organization. This role focuses on establishing strategies to reduce supply expenses while ensuring product standardization and optimizing contractual agreements. The Director collaborates with various stakeholders, including hospital leadership and clinical staff, to implement continuous improvement processes that enhance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
  • Identify and implement margin improvement strategies, especially in high-cost departments.
  • Analyze and mitigate supply expense variances through actionable planning.
  • Facilitate value analysis meetings and collaborate with product committees.
  • Build relationships with hospital leadership and clinical teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute cost containment processes for clinical supplies and technology.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree required in healthcare value analysis or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in value analysis or hospital leadership.
  • Preferred credentials: LPN/RN, CMRP, CVAHP or similar.
