Overview

K2 Medical Research is seeking a Clinical Trials Budget & Contracts Manager to play a key role in financial management for clinical trials. This position focuses on budget preparation, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance while collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a multi-site operational environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the CFO to finalize budgets and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
  • Negotiate outsourced service agreements with external vendors
  • Maintain communication with sponsors during the execution of CTAs
  • Review protocol amendments and determine budget adjustments
  • Facilitate budget and contract amendments with the accounting department
  • Maintain records of all budget-related correspondence and documents
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal protocols
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trial budget development
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Healthcare financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex budget data effectively
  • Experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems or advanced Excel functions
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field
