Overview

BJC Medical Group is seeking a part-time Clinical Triage Nurse for their Access Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing direct telephonic care to patients, requiring recent RN experience in an Emergency Department or Medical Surgical Floor. The position operates in a fast-paced environment requiring strong assessment skills and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patients telephonically using the nursing process and clinical judgment
  • Direct patients to appropriate levels of care and schedule appointments
  • Provide patient education and support, including verbal and written instructions
  • Utilize various technologies and computer applications to coordinate patient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians and office staff
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in administrative tasks
