Overview

The Clinical Technology Manager at Metro Community Health Center in Pittsburgh, PA is responsible for providing first-level technical support to all staff and programs within the health center. This role involves managing hardware, software, network, and electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure reliable technology services that support quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical assistance to staff via various communication channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Support users with EHR systems and other clinical software.
  • Set up new user accounts and manage equipment onboarding.
  • Manage Healthways technology platforms and support participant-facing devices.
  • Provide real-time technical support during sessions and ensure integration with EMR.
  • Document support processes and maintain asset inventory.
  • Support compliance with data privacy and security protocols.

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in information technology or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support or technical customer service.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and network fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
