Overview

Quadrant Health Group is seeking a Clinical Support Technician for Night and Swing shifts at Ocean Coast Recovery Center in Costa Mesa, California. This role is crucial in providing essential support to clinical staff, ensuring efficient client flow, and enhancing the overall client experience while maintaining a safe and supportive residential environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and staff
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients and their families
  • Supervise client comfort and safety in the residential environment
  • Document client behavior and report observations to clinical staff
  • Conduct urine analysis testing and document results in the EMR
  • Observe and document self-administration of medication
  • Facilitate groups and educational sessions
  • Transport clients to meetings and appointments
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Required skills

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the 12-step recovery model
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Certification as a Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor or Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
