Overview

The Clinical Specialist for U.S. Renal Care is responsible for enhancing regulatory standards and clinical outcomes in clinics across the San Fernando Valley and LA County, with a significant travel commitment. The role involves training staff, conducting in-services, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while providing quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical operations of assigned clinics and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Train and mentor new and current clinical staff
  • Conduct internal clinical reviews for compliance with laws and regulations
  • Monitor quality of care processes for regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate patient care data to adhere to clinical guidelines
  • Communicate status updates on clinics to management regularly
  • Manage multiple projects and oversee various locations

Required skills

  • Current RN or LVN/LPN license
  • Two years of nursing experience in maintenance dialysis
  • Extensive knowledge of dialysis industry standards and regulations
  • Previous dialysis management experience preferred
  • CNN or CHN certification preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; proficiency in USRC clinical applications
