Overview

Guidehealth is a data-powered healthcare company focused on operational excellence, aiming to enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes. The Clinical Quality Improvement Coordinator will work remotely to engage patients in quality initiatives, manage quality data, and ensure compliance with various quality improvement measures.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on quality improvement measures and initiatives.
  • Conduct proactive patient outreach to address quality gaps and educate patients on preventive care.
  • Collect and manage quality data using EMR systems and other applications.
  • Prioritize daily work to meet various quality reporting deadlines and requirements.
  • Communicate quality performances and improvement strategies to internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with customers, payers, and co-workers to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Participate in departmental and payer-sponsored training and support calls.

Required skills

  • Associate degree or greater in a related field or certified/licensed professional (e.g., CMA, LPN).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with EMR systems.
  • 2 years of experience in Medicare Advantage quality data abstraction and patient outreach.
  • Technical proficiency with health data, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint), and various applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives and quality database management.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and cloud platforms.
