Overview

The Clinical Psychologist role at Vortex Solutions LLC involves providing psychological evaluations and treatment in accordance with state guidelines and ethical principles. The psychologist will diagnose mental health conditions and deliver therapeutic interventions, while also assisting in patient rehabilitation and providing training to junior staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations using interviews and testing
  • Establish diagnoses based on the DSM
  • Provide psychological treatment to individuals and groups
  • Assist in the rehabilitation of patients
  • Perform psychological testing and report results
  • Train junior providers and enlisted personnel
  • Contribute to clinic improvements and adopt evidence-based practices

Required skills

  • PhD or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship
  • 1 year of post-licensure experience in mental health
  • Fluent in English
  • Current, active psychologist license
