Job Description

Overview

Senior Care Therapy is seeking both full-time and part-time Licensed Psychologists to provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population across multiple states. The role emphasizes a supportive environment, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care without administrative burdens, in a mission-driven setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using EHR.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Required skills

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of application.
  • Effective oral and written communication in English.
  • Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices.
