Overview

Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join their Oral Pathology team as a Clinical Office Lead. This role involves supervising clinical staff, monitoring daily office operations, and assisting physicians with clinical procedures, with a focus on exceptional patient care and a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage clinical staff schedules, flextime, and PTO requests
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to review schedule updates and clinic news
  • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment
  • Verify all test results are ready for the physician
  • Participate in staff performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Supervise payroll process with daily edit reviews and corrections
  • Ensure compliance with practice policies and protocols
  • Monitor patient flow to minimize wait times
  • Return patient calls, manage prescriptions, and oversee EMR desktop
  • Order clinical equipment and supplies
  • Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and billing as needed
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager for smooth office operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare office setting
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in a dental or pathology office
  • Medical Assistant certification/degree
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
