Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for their Mansfield, Ohio location. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through the leadership and management of nursing personnel, while promoting evidence-based practices and fostering a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care and ensure implementation of the nursing process by Registered Nurses.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and data-driven decision making.
  • Coordinate staffing and manage daily operations of the unit.
  • Engage in recruitment, retention, and evaluation of nursing staff.
  • Support staff development through education and performance management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality within the nursing team.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ohio
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience in a similar role
  • Leadership experience in healthcare settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with nursing process and clinical standards
  • Skills in computer applications relevant to nursing
