Overview

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc is seeking a Clinical Manager for their Targeted Care Management and Substance Use Disorder programs in Arlington, Vermont. This role involves overseeing program staff, providing direct clinical services, managing quality improvement activities, and engaging with community partners to meet the needs of individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage program requirements and activities, overseeing daily workflow
  • Provide leadership and direct supervision to program staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and track staff Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Deliver individual and group therapy services for mental illness and substance use disorders
  • Coordinate services and referrals with other agencies and providers
  • Develop and implement programs based on community needs and best practices
  • Provide consultation and education services to the community and professionals
  • Maintain compliance with clinical documentation and record keeping

Required skills

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Supervisory experience
  • Licensure in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
