Overview

The Clinical Lab Technologist position at Mayo Clinic involves performing analyses to support healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. Located in Southaven, Mississippi, this role includes operational support, instrument maintenance, and quality assurance of testing processes in a specialized laboratory setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform analyses to aid in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients
  • Conduct operational support activities to maintain testing capabilities
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and assay systems
  • Evaluate tests for accuracy and assist in interpreting results
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working with infectious specimens and chemicals
  • Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results
  • Assist with specimen collection when necessary
  • Accommodate flexible scheduling, including off-shifts and weekends

Required skills
