Job Description

Overview

The Clinical Director at Pinnacle Treatment Centers is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all clinical programming in Martinsville, Indiana. This role involves supervising both licensed and unlicensed clinical teammates while championing clinical excellence and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, development, and retention of clinical teammates
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision and operational leadership to counselors
  • Establish performance standards and complete performance evaluations focused on continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to enhance patient care and staff development
  • Ensure clinical services are delivered ethically, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate clinical assignments related to intake assessments, counseling, and educational programming
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions as needed
  • Oversee quality assurance activities to ensure documentation meets standards
  • Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Investigate and resolve teammate concerns in a professional manner
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development

Required skills

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current, unrestricted professional clinical license in Indiana (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT)
  • Minimum of three years of progressive clinical counseling experience in behavioral health
  • In-depth understanding of co-occurring mental health disorders and treatment interventions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor the work of others
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
