The Client Service Specialist at Park State Bank is a key customer-focused role, essential for the bank's success. This position involves serving as a trusted advisor to clients by assisting them with various banking needs such as account management, financial guidance, and product inquiries, while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional and personalized service to every client
  • Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
  • Assist clients with account openings, closures, updates, and inquiries
  • Maintain a deep understanding of bank products and services
  • Handle client transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Offer basic financial advice to help clients achieve their objectives
  • Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell bank products
  • Ensure strict adherence to banking regulations and policies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in banking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in retail software systems and point-of-sale (POS) terminals
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
