Overview

Heard & Smith, LLP is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join their Legal Assistant Department in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process in a fast-paced call center setting, while upholding the firm's values of compassion and dedication to helping those in need.

Key responsibilities

  • Take approximately 50-75 calls per day in a professional call center environment
  • Build and maintain client relationships with every interaction
  • Focus on client retention while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain a 90% or above quality score on calls
  • Solve problems and maintain confidentiality
  • Keep updated records and detailed documentation of client interactions in a paperless database
  • Address client concerns and complaints
  • Use good judgment to identify urgent issues that require managerial attention

Required skills

  • High School Diploma; degree preferred or equivalent combination
  • Customer service and call center experience
  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
  • Proficiency in computer technology and the Internet (MS Office Outlook)
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong people skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, telephone, and active listening skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Experience in Social Security Disability Law or related areas preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
