Overview

The Client Account Specialist at Capitol Recruiters Inc. plays a crucial role in managing account setups, billing, and collections for a top-tier global law firm. This fully remote position requires candidates to work Pacific Time hours, where they will collaborate with attorneys to oversee the client invoicing and collections cycle while also training and mentoring billing team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage account setup, billing, and collection arrangements for client portfolios.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with attorneys and clients.
  • Handle complex billing arrangements, including client-level billing and collections.
  • Train and mentor billing specialists.
  • Verify rates and review outside counsel guidelines.
  • Monitor fee caps, tier discounts, and matter budgets.
  • Manage the prebill to final bill process.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding collections and billing inquiries.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyze billing trends.
  • Monitor unapplied cash reports and resolve issues.
