Overview

Destination Cleveland is seeking an intern for the Cleveland Talent Alliance (CTA) to support various initiatives aimed at growing the region's population and enhancing communication among stakeholders. The internship will involve assisting with the Resident Ambassador program and student retention efforts while gaining valuable experience in the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with communication and event planning for Resident Ambassadors
  • Connect Resident Ambassadors to potential newcomers
  • Maintain and evolve a communications plan for CTA partners
  • Collaborate with partner organizations on student retention programs
  • Attend regular CTA meetings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned related to CTA efforts

Required skills

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or content creation platforms like Canva
