Overview

Challenger Motor Freight Inc. is seeking Class 1 Company Drivers at their St. Remi terminal. Drivers will primarily operate in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, as well as Ontario and Quebec, with dispatches based on priority and legal driving hours.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Plan trips based on legal requirements and available hours
  • Handle dispatch requests based on priority of driver, customer, and load requirements

Required skills

  • Class 1 licensing
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • One year of verifiable commercial vehicle driving experience
  • Clean driving record with a maximum of three demerit points
  • No criminal offenses under the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Professional attitude and teamwork skills
