Overview

Marvin is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Windsor, Connecticut. This role promises a supportive driving environment with assigned trucks and hotel accommodations for overnight travel, allowing drivers to be home two days each week. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $28 per hour along with immediate benefits, including a 401(k) match and annual profit-sharing.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver Marvin products to vendors throughout the northeast U.S.
  • Provide excellent customer service with updates on location and estimated time of arrival.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to the Million Safe Mile Club.
  • Manage routes independently with minimal supervision.
  • Unload windows and doors at each delivery stop.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least one year of Class A driving experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience with over-the-road driving
  • Familiarity with delivery verification scanners and product documentation
  • Ability to inspect equipment and ensure load accuracy
  • Understanding of DOT and safety requirements
