Overview

Contract Lumber is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for local runs in Pataskala, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to be home every night while delivering materials and providing creative solutions within the lumber and building industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Load, secure, and deliver material
  • Inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements
  • Maintain all required paperwork
  • Check load for accuracy
  • Ensure all loads are safely secured before leaving the yard or job site
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers

Required skills

  • CDL A License
  • Ability to learn to operate a Piggyback or Princeton forklift
  • Driving record meeting DOT regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Great attitude and a team player
  • Strong work ethic, responsibility, and motivation
