Overview

RJ Schinner Co is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for local routes based in Hudson, New Hampshire. This full-time position offers home weekends and most nights, with the requirement of 1-2 overnight stays per week. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR's)
  • Assist customers with verifying quantities and products delivered versus ship tickets
  • Collect payment for goods delivered in accordance with payment instructions
  • Maintain driver logs according to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Operate within applicable safety guidelines as defined by regulations and company policies
  • Ensure equipment cleanliness is maintained
  • Maintain CDL and clean driving record per DOT and company rules
  • Uphold and comply with company policies and attitudes

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
  • 1-3 years of previous driving experience (preferably 100,000 miles)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Ability to pass driving history and background check
  • Possess a Federal Medical Card
  • Knowledge of common hazards and safety precautions for Class A Drivers
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
