Job Description

Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will support customers during challenging times by guiding them through the claims process with empathy and understanding. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and problem resolution while contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of GEICO.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts.
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties.
  • Assist customers in getting back on the road after accidents.
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions.

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume call centers.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Active Adjusters license preferred.
