Overview

As an Auto Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a vital role in assisting customers when they need support the most. This position emphasizes customer interaction, problem resolution, and ensuring a positive experience through empathy and care, while guiding policyholders through their coverage.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in the process of getting back on the road
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred
  • Active adjusters license preferred (training provided)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Empathy skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multitask
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
