As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a vital role in supporting customers with their auto insurance claims. This position emphasizes empathy and problem-solving in order to guide policyholders through their coverage and the claims process, helping them to get back on the road safely. Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in the process of getting back on the road
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers
  • Active Adjusters license preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
