Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a crucial role in managing customer interactions related to auto claims, providing reassurance and solutions during challenging times. This position emphasizes empathy and customer service, guiding policyholders through their coverage and helping them recover quickly after accidents.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in processes to get back on the road
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing Claims experience preferred
  • High-volume call center experience with measurable goals preferred
  • Active Adjusters license preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
