Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a critical role in assisting customers during challenging times by guiding them through the claims process with empathy and expertise. This position is essential for helping policyholders navigate their coverage and ensure they return to the road safely while contributing to a customer-focused culture within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in the claims process to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with measurable goals preferred
  • Active Adjusters license preferred (training provided)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
