Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you'll provide meaningful support to customers during their claims process, ensuring their concerns are addressed with empathy and care. This role involves guiding policyholders through coverage explanations and ensuring their return to the road safely, all while upholding GEICO's commitment to customer service excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts for claims processing
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in navigating their claims and getting back on the road
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with measurable goals preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable with multitasking abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
  • Active Adjusters license preferred (training provided)
