Overview

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Claims Specialist for its Personal Lines Casualty Team in Tempe, Arizona. This fully remote position (with some hybrid requirements) involves managing, investigating, and resolving attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims while ensuring high-quality service to policyholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, investigate, and resolve claims
  • Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages to settle claims
  • Identify and refer suspicious claims to SIU
  • Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences
  • Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information
  • Ensure adequacy of claims reserves
  • Update claims files and provide comprehensive reports
  • Manage the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel
