Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers during challenging times by reassurance and problem-solving. This position requires guiding policyholders through their coverage details and assisting them in the claims process to ensure a smooth return to the road.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure positive experiences
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred
  • Active Adjuster license preferred (training and exam fees provided)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
