Overview

As an Auto Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will provide essential support to customers by managing their claims with empathy and ensuring a smooth process. The role focuses on guiding policyholders through their coverage and assisting them in getting back on the road safely, all while contributing to GEICO's commitment to quality service and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with measurable goals
  • Active Adjusters license preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multitask
