Job Description

Overview

State Farm is seeking a Claims Appraiser - Auto Estimatics to assist insureds in the claims process by estimating vehicle damage and providing exceptional customer service. This remote position requires the candidate to collect vehicle information, prepare repair estimates, and provide technical support while working flexibly and potentially traveling for in-person inspections.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers
  • Complete initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person
  • Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates
  • Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues
  • Evaluate bid content and photo documentation, vehicle damage, and causation issues
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process

  • Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License (preferred)
  • CCC One and/or Mitchell knowledge (preferred)
  • I-CAR Platinum Certification (preferred)

  • Starting salary range of $59,059.65 - $82,000 annually based on experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
