Overview

EIG Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster II specializing in Workers' Compensation for a fully remote role based in California. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of moderate to complex claims, ensuring compliance with California regulations while providing exceptional service to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of California WC claims with moderate to complex medical and indemnity exposure
  • Establish accurate reserves and evaluate compensability
  • Develop action plans from initial contact through closure
  • Coordinate medical treatment and work with defense counsel
  • Maintain compliance with California statutes, state forms, and company guidelines

Required skills

  • 2+ years of California Workers' Compensation claims experience
  • Strong knowledge of California WC law, statutes, and claim procedures
  • Ability to work Pacific hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PDT
  • Self-directed and organized
  • CA adjuster license or ability to obtain within the state-mandated timeframe
  • Insurance designations like WCCP, AIC, CPCU are a plus
