EIG Services, Inc. is seeking a Claims Adjuster II for Workers' Compensation in California, offering a 100% remote work opportunity. The role requires managing a caseload of moderate to complex workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with California laws and maintaining communication with involved parties.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of California WC claims with moderate to complex medical and indemnity exposure
  • Establish accurate reserves and evaluate compensability
  • Develop action plans from initial contact through closure
  • Coordinate medical treatment and work with defense counsel
  • Proactively resolve claims within authority
  • Maintain compliance with California statutes, state forms, and company guidelines

Required skills

  • 2+ years of California Workers' Compensation claims experience
  • Strong knowledge of California WC law, statutes, and claim procedures
  • Self-directed and organized with ability to manage a full caseload remotely
  • CA adjuster license or ability to obtain within state-mandated timeframe
  • WCCP, AIC, CPCU, or other insurance designation a plus
