Overview

As a Claim Specialist in Property Field Inspection at State Farm, you will be responsible for managing and inspecting accident and weather-related claims for both residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong expertise in handling claims efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages
  • Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other parties to resolve claims
  • Provide exceptional customer service during the claims process
  • Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports
  • Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims
  • Evaluate coverage and policy terms for claims validity
  • Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits

Required skills

  • Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and claim handling
  • Understanding of residential and commercial building construction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with a customer focus
  • Proficient in claims management software
  • Physical agility for inspections
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
