Overview

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related claims for homeowners and commercial properties. This role involves conducting on-site inspections, assessing damages, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims
  • Collaborate with policyholders and insurance agents to efficiently resolve claims
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports for claims handling
  • Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000
  • Evaluate coverage and policy terms to ensure compliance and validity of claims
  • Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits

Required skills

  • Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and claims handling practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in using claims management software
  • Ability to assess damages and estimate repair costs
  • Physical agility for inspections, including climbing and navigating roofs
