Job Description Job Description Job descriptionEcoff Campain & Kay, LLP has an immediate opening for an experienced civil litigation attorney. Applicants should have solid litigation and/or labor and employment experience and must be prepared to assume an active caseload from start to finish, including propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and appearing for motions, trial prep, making court appearances and client/carrier reporting. We are seeking attorneys who are good problem solvers and willing to efficiently manage a full load of cases alongside Partner supervision. The ideal candidates will actively handle litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by managing cases from inception to resolution. These individuals will build and maintain positive client relationships and provide an excellent client experience. Responsibilities (included, but is not limited to): Providing legal support to clientsManaging cases from inception through trial and/or appeal, as necessaryMaintaining positive client relationshipsPreparing legal reports and documentsPropounding and responding to discoveryDrafting and appearing for law and motionTaking and defending depositionsClient reporting Qualifications: CA Bar admitted attorney in good standingA minimum of 5 years of litigation and/or labor & employment experienceStrong civil litigation knowledgeStrong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsTrial experience is a plusProactive, responsive, responsible, accountableStrives to create and maintain healthy working relationships with co-workers and clients Job Type: Full-time Salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000 per year Benefits: 401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offReferral program Schedule: Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay License/Certification: CA Bar license (Required) Work Location: On location / In person
