You will receive excellent mentorship where one will grow and develop into a successful trial attorney!Qualifications:Must be an active member in good standing with the CA BarPrior insurance defense experience is preferred but not requiredExperience drafting discovery, pleadings, and a variety of motionsExcellent knowledge of online legal research i.e., WestlawAbility and desire to produce excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing and analytical skillsMust be driven, a self-starter and able to independently manage a caseloadMust be able to work well under strict deadlinesAbility to multitask effectivelyExcellent oral advocacy and written communication skills are a mustResponsibilitiesManage all phases of civil litigation cases, from initial client consultation through trial and settlement negotiations.Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw to support case strategies.Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests with precision and clarity.Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws across various practice areas including personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and more.Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable results for clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity.Collaborate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and advise on legal options.Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies and legal standards.We offer a congenial working environment as well as competitive salary and benefits.
