Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) with a focus on Water/Wastewater to join their Kennewick, Washington office. This role is centered on the planning and design of water and wastewater systems, providing candidates with a supportive environment, mentoring opportunities, and a chance to make a significant impact on public health and quality of life through engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and design water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and wastewater systems.
  • Support projects from concept through construction.
  • Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers for mentorship and growth.
  • Coordinate with structural, electrical, and survey engineers.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
  • Utilize modern design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, WaterCAD, and MS Office.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in civil/water/wastewater engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with modern design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D and MS Office.
