Overview

All South Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Supervisor in Houma, Louisiana, with a strong background in civil engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will lead the engineering team in delivering sustainable infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and design standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies
  • Produce preliminary designs and quantity take-offs for project budgets
  • Check designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in developing and assembling designs, drawings, and project specifications
  • Manage and coordinate projects with engineering team and clients
  • Oversee construction administration tasks, including staff oversight and review of applications and modifications

Required skills

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Louisiana registered Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise with civil engineering software
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
