Overview

Jobot is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their highly skilled team of civil and structural engineers. The role involves designing and permitting construction plans for various civil engineering projects, with a focus on site layout, stormwater management, and public utilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and stormwater treatment
  • Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects
  • Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs
  • Produce technical reports and correspond with team members
  • Coordinate project submittals and facilitate regulatory agency approvals
  • Obtain construction permits

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Experience with design of land development projects
  • Knowledge of Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred
