Overview

All South Consulting Engineers is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer / Supervisor to join their Gonzales, Louisiana office. The firm specializes in municipal and civil engineering and is committed to designing innovative and sustainable infrastructure that positively impacts communities. The ideal candidate will be a Louisiana licensed Professional Engineer with at least 10 years of design and project management experience, capable of leading a team of engineers and ensuring project success.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies
  • Produce preliminary designs and quantity take-offs for project budgets
  • Check designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in the development of designs, drawings, and project specifications
  • Manage projects and coordinate with engineering team and clients
  • Work independently on projects while leading and organizing design staff
  • Oversee staff engineers in construction administration responsibilities
  • Manage construction meetings and review pay applications

Required skills

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Louisiana registered Civil Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
  • Experience in civil engineering design and project management
  • Expertise with civil engineering software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams
